Jonathan McKay holds over 30 years of experience within the international technology and telecommunications sectors.
Also Chairman of Just Giving, Forward Partners and La Fosse Associates, Jonathan is experienced in leading world-class technology businesses and achieving high-growth across global markets.
Jonathan’s former roles include Chairman of Ubiquisys, Chairman of Fizzback and Vice President and General Manager of Sun Microsystems' Tools and Integration business unit. He joined Sun as a result of the company's $700 million acquisition of Forte, where he held the role of COO and CMO and was responsible for driving product and market strategy from the corporate headquarters in San Francisco.
In addition, Jonathan is a Limited Partner in five venture capital funds, an active early stage Enterprise Investment Scheme investor and on the investment committee of venture capital fund Ventech China.
Lionel has more than 25 years of experience in the technology field and has been part of the wireless industry since the early 90s. Most recently Lionel was CEO of Comverse IP Communications and Senior Vice President of Comverse Group. Prior joining Comverse, he was Executive Vice-President of Proxim Wireless, leading Worldwide Sales and subsidiaries.
Lionel's background also includes General Management and Senior Executive roles in Alcatel, JDS Uniphase, EXFO and Fairchild in the USA. Lionel is a French national and earned an MBA from NEOMA (Rouen Business School).
Hermann Hauser was co-founder of Amadeus Capital Partners in 1997 with Anne Glover and Peter Wynn. In his long and successful history as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, he has founded or co-founded companies in a wide range of technology sectors.
Martin has been active in international technology start-ups and venture capital for 18 years and focuses on the communications and semiconductor sectors. Martin has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, a BA in Electrical and Information Science from Cambridge University and is a Chartered Engineer.
John co-founded CBNL in the year 2000 and managed all research and development activity until 2011. He is currently responsible for CBNL’s strategic technology direction as well as overseeing the company’s industrial liaison, thought leadership and intellectual property activities.
Before starting CBNL, John co-founded the pioneering wireless company Adaptive Broadband and held a research position at AT&T Laboratories Cambridge. John has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and over 20 years’ experience designing cutting edge wireless technology.
Achim Lederle is founder and managing partner at Quantum Partners, a corporate finance boutique focusing on growth companies. He has been an investor, director and consultant in national and international companies for more than 18 years.
As a Partner at 3i, one of the largest venture capital companies in Europe, Achim Lederle managed transactions of a value ranging between EUR 0.5 million and EUR 270 million. He played a leading role in the strategic sale of the international venture portfolio of 3i and continued successfully to sell off the former 3i portfolio at Cipio Partners as a Venture Partner.
Achim Lederle began his career in venture capital as an Investment Manager with the venture capital company Technologieholding VC. As a business angel Achim Lederle is also often involved with capital and expertise from an entrepreneurial standpoint. After studying Business Administration at the University of Augsburg, he started his career as consultant at Deloitte Consulting.
