Lionel Chmilewsky - Chief Executive Officer

Lionel has more than 25 years of experience in the technology field and has been part of the wireless industry since the early 90s. Most recently Lionel was CEO of Comverse IP Communications and Senior Vice President of Comverse. Prior joining Comverse, he was Executive Vice-President of Proxim Wireless, leading Worldwide Sales. His background also includes General Management and Senior Sales roles in Alcatel, JDS Uniphase and EXFO, as well as Product Management in his early career at Fairchild in the USA. Lionel is a French national and earned a business degree from the Rouen Business School.

 

Chris Caswell - Chief Financial Officer

Chris is responsible for delivering high quality financial performance for CBNL and has over 30 years in finance management for international technology and manufacturing groups, mainly in the role of Group CFO. Chris’ experience includes leadership roles for both SMEs and large multinationals, including Vodafone in both Germany and Greece, Invensys and fibre optics manufacturer Corning. Chris has an engineering degree from Nottingham University, is a Price Waterhouse trained Chartered Accountant and speaks fluent English, German, French and Italian.

 

Dr John Naylon - Chief Technology Officer

A co-founder of CBNL, John is responsible for research and development and holds over 11 years’ experience of developing cutting edge wireless technology. John holds a degree and PhD in computer science from the University of Cambridge.

 

Paul Yates
Senior Vice President, Operations

Paul leads the company’s operational and manufacturing activities. Paul has 25 years’ experience in manufacturing and supply chain with Tier 1 Contract Electronic Manufacturers such as Celestica, where he held a variety of global operational roles and major account management positions. More recently Paul has held a number of senior operational roles in UK high tech start up and SME companies.

 

Alastair Williamson - Global Sales

Senior Vice President, Global Sales

Alastair leads the company’s global sales, marketing and commercial activities. He has over 25 years commercial experience, within the telecoms sector, leading sales teams in Asia, EMEA and LATAM. Previous to joining CBNL, Alastair held a number of sales leadership roles in Alcatel Lucent.

 

Sarah Gowing
General Counsel and Company Secretary

Since leaving private practice in 2000, Sarah has a strong commercial and corporate background and combines legal knowledge with wide ranging experience from start-ups to listed entities. Prior to joining CBNL in 2010, she was Company Secretary to Acambis plc and Assistant Company Secretary to Vectura plc. 

 

Rebecca Davies

HR Director

Rebecca is responsible for the delivery of the HR service to the organisation. Rebecca is experienced in working within HR at an operational and strategic level. She holds her Masters in Human Resource Management and is Chartered MCIPD Qualified. Rebecca’s previous role was at HID global looking after the UK’s HR Service.

 

Kamel Kaddoumi - Sales - Middle East

Kamel Kaddoumi
VP Sales, Middle East and Northern Africa

Kamel manages the Middle East and Northern Africa Office and has over 15 years experience in the telecoms and IT industries. This includes senior management roles for NEC and Sumitomo Corp. in the Middle East and North Africa. Kamel is a qualified Telecom Engineer and speaks fluent English, Arabic and French.

 

Peter Norton
VP Sales, Europe, Russia and CIS

Peter is responsible for leading sales, marketing and commercial activities in Europe, Russia and CIS. He has over 30 years of research, product management and sales experience, the past 20 years of which have been dedicated to the sales of Telecommunications equipment including WAN access equipment, speech quality improvement systems, mobile network quality assurance tools and VoIP servers. He has held senior roles in Varian, Spirent, Broadsoft and SwissQual.

 

Adrian Martin - Sales - Latin America

Adrian Martin
VP Sales, Latin America

Adrian is responsible for leading sales, marketing and commercial activities in Latin America and Telefonica Globally. He has over 25 years’ experience including holding senior management roles in companies such as Veraz Networks, ViaNetworks and Nortel.
