CBNL, the global leader in point-to-multipoint (PMP) microwave networks, has today announced the launch of the latest update to its market-leading VectaStar platform, which increases hub site capacity to 14.4Gb/s and improves its maximum range to 20km – an improvement of up to 50 per cent.

CBNL, the global leader in multipoint microwave backhaul and access technologies, has today announced the launch of new VectaStar Gigabit and VectaStar Metro wideband products, doubling platform capacity to 600Mb/s.

The extra performance will allow operators to meet the increased data demands of next generation networks like LTE and 4G, providing customers with faster mobile speeds and serving the growing trend for multimedia services.

MTN Nigeria upgrades largest regional 3G network with CBNL- CBNL improving quality of service for MTN Nigeria with full turnkey backhaul deployment

CBNL has today announced new contracts with MTN Nigeria to upgrade and expand capacity of the operator’s 3G network.

The contracts will see CBNL undertake the supply, installation and commissioning of new VectaStar backhaul equipment to improve the quality of services for MTN Nigeria – an operator who serve over 47 million subscribers.
