Sunday Times Tech Track 100 2009 recognises CBNL as the UK’s fastest growing wireless hardware company
Cambridge Broadband Networks announced today that it has made it onto the Tech Track 100 league table as the UK’s fastest growing wireless hardware company.
CBNL has been ranked 21st out of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, according to the prestigious Tech Track league table.
The Tech Track 100 is an independent league table that ranks the top-performing privately held technology companies, based on sales growth over the last 3 years.
Now in its ninth year, the Tech Track 100 list was announced in The Sunday Times, published on 20th September.
Cambridge Broadband Networks’ position was awarded due to sales growing fourfold between 2006 and 2009.
Graham Peel, CEO of Cambridge Broadband Networks commented,
“To be recognised as the UK’s fastest growing wireless hardware company is fantastic news for us and a reflection of the growing demand for mobile broadband services. Our highly efficient point-to-multipoint microwave backhaul solutions are now helping mobile operators around the world to meet that need. The past year may have been tough for many, but we’re experiencing one of our best years yet.”
The Tech Track league table is compiled by Fast Track (www.fasttrack.co.uk) and is published in The Sunday Times each September. Other top 100 companies included Lovefilm.com and The Cloud
